goodness gracious

Howdyyyyyyyy

Goodness gracious is an understatement to my reaction to God's provision for my trip so far. I now have received enough donations to make my trip to Honduras. People told me I was going to be surprised to see God supply the means for my trip. Despite their warnings, I was still surprised. I feel as if God was like "You need money? Foreal? This is nothing. I got this." I paraphrase with my own spin of course.

In the short time it took to raise it, there were some great surprises. For one, I received an awesome donation from one of my sister's friends. She's in high school. It was her own money. I didn't even ask her, and I quote "I don't want to just pray for you, I want to help you go!" THAT IS SO AWESOME. I would not have given away money when I was in high school. I would have spent it on World of Warcraft like a dummy. So like I said, a wonderful surprise.

NO MORE MONEY!!!!!!
Like I said... I HAVE RECEIVED ALL OF THE DONATIONS I NEED. PLEASE DON'T SEND ANYMORE!!

I don't want to take any more money than I need to get to Honduras. The money can be put towards someone who needs it much more. I'll more than likely send out a 2nd range of letters shortly informing people not to donate anymore. I know not everyone (I wonder if anyone is reading this yet haha) will be reading this blog.

Continued Prayer
I honestly don't think I understand or have seen the dire importance of prayer yet in my short life. I'm still silly and ignorant. But I know it is, so I still ask for prayers!

For all that have donated so far, thank you. Thank you for sacrificing a bit of your comfort. The fact that there may be people praying for me as a result of my asking is just awesome to me. I do not feel deserving, not at all. It strikes a gratitude deep in my heart. Thanks again everyone.
